Dr was good and reassured us - but we had an 8 month old baby and we were an hour late with the appointment. Don't know why.

We sincerely aplogise that you were kept waiting for an hour and were apparently not informed of the reason. Inevitably, clinics sometimes run late as emergency situations arise from time to time. We have reinforced to our receptionists the importance of keeping patients informed of any undue delays to clinic appointment times.

The bigger proble, for me at present is insufficient - parking also there remain problems getting through at 8 am to book an appointment. By 8-15 most / all appointments are gone and you will have a serious emergency.

We were surprised to learn of your parking difficulties as there is a large car park adjacent to the surgery which is regularly under occupied. We apologise for the difficulties you have experienced in getting through on the telephone first thing in the morning but would like to re-assure you that if you have a serious medical problem you will always be seen by a doctor on the same day.
